We are an office of storytellers. Yes, we’re also known as the shirt-and-tie, skirt-and-blazer folk found walking backward down Trousdale from nine to five every weekday. We’re also the office that tends to take an exorbitant amount of pictures wherever we go and we love every second of it.

But “loud, proud, and happy to be here” takes a back seat every time we take our first step backward for a tour because we’re not in sales, advertising or advancement; we’re students, and our job as Student Ambassadors is to be honest.

Outside of giving tours, we also work behind the scenes in the Admission Center. We answer phone calls and emails, book tours, organize scheduling and staff admitted student events. In some capacity or another, each interaction becomes an opportunity to share our individual USC experiences regardless of whether we’re sitting at the desk or walking backward.

As Student Ambassadors of USC, we thought we should do a little more sharing—this time, we’re opening up to the student body. We see and hear each other on campus constantly, but let’s actually get to know each other. Read on for backgrounds on a few of our student workers.

Everyone has a story to tell. We’re sharing ours here, and we’d like to hear yours. Recruitment events to begin in late spring; applications open in August.

we believe everyone has a story, and we want to share ours with the hope that it inspires you to share yours.

our mission

We aim to recruit, hire, train and graduate student workers who bring color to the USC campus by being involved, educated and dedicated.

Our Mission

our vision

We want to have more conversations and fewer monologues. We want to do more listening and less talking. We want you to tell us Why YoUSC--we'll help you do the rest.
